Freemasonry FACTs
We are praying that you too will come to Christ and be set free from the false religion of Freemasonry.
I accepted Christ at the age of 8 but I never followed Him as a child and I rarely went to church.
As a young man I always felt a need to “belong”. I soon became a father and strongly wanted my son to know what an important virtue it is to be a “good man”. I have always considered myself to be a do-gooder. But then I heard about the Shrine Hospital and all of the good things that they do. I wanted to help people like that.

I got a job at the Syrian Shrine Mosque as a building superintendent and soon started asking how to become a Shriner. I was told that I had to first be a Mason, but when I asked how to become a Mason they would just say “That’s how” in a hush hush way like it was a big secret. I played along but kept asking and soon was invited to send in a petition for membership.

I was initiated as an Entered Apprentice on September 19, 1991.
On October 24, 1991 I was passed on to Fellow craft.
I was next raised to Master Mason on November 21, 1991.
On April 24 and 25, 1992, I received the 13-degree thru the 19-degree and the 32-degree of the Scottish Rite.
On May 27, 1992 I became a noble in the Mystic Shrine.
In September 1992 I became a Shrine Clown.
I was installed as Senior Steward in 1992.

I also worked as a building supernatant at the Scottish Rite Temple in Cincinnati.

I have been asked ‘What happened to make you leave Masonry?’
First let me say nothing “happened”.
It was a series of events that started one day at church. I was standing in line waiting for communion, and this man (rather tall man) came to me and asked if I was a Mason. (Up to that point I told no one about being a Mason nor did I wear any rings or such.) I told him yes, he said “good” you need to check out the ex-masons for Jesus web site. I never saw that man again! I’m not saying I know it was an angel but I am really good at remembering faces even if I only see them for a moment. So I went home and after many hours looking at the ex masons for Jesus web site and many other web sites I downloaded a resignation form filled it out and mailed it to my lodge. All the while from the first time I walked into the church up to that moment God started changing me. The more I asked God to show me the truth about something the more He would show me things that were keeping me from Him. As a result I sold out to Jesus and gave Him permission to come into my life and remove anything that would keep me from Him.
